Dolcissima effigie pdf4/3/2023 Some were initially interested, but in the end, we could not find anyone who had the capacity to take on volunteer work.įinally, in July of 2022, we were able to recruit someone to fill the Education Director seat, but the other two seats were still empty. We talked to our most active members about joining the board. Each time there was a vacancy, we put out a call for nominations and volunteers, and each time we received no response. In early 2022, we lost our Member Benefits Director, and then lost our Vice President later that Summer. In the Fall of 2021, we lost our Education Director. In the last few years, we have lost several board members who, try as we might, we have not been able to replace. IVAA has always been governed by a board of volunteers. This was a difficult decision, and not one that was taken lightly. Today, at the January Board of Directors meeting, the Board members present voted unanimously to dissolve IVAA. We thank you for your patience as we have worked hard to determine our next steps, and we are ready now to share what is next.
